Currently a sophomore college student from the States studying in Bilbao, Spain for the semester (I can see the Guggenheim Museum from my host family's apartment!). Because the US university costs are a travesty and a half, I'm on a tight budget. But I want to see and taste and experience as much of Europe as possible! I will be traveling during weekends and for my two week spring break, and I will most likely have a few companions with me. Let me know if you have any questions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet the locals and experience the true culture of wherever I go. While saving money is important to me, that is not the reason I choose to couch surf.

Florence and the Machine is my jam, along with but not limited to: Coldplay, The Killers, Two Door Cinema Club, Phoenix, PHOX, Ratatat, Tame Impala and the Apache Relay. I'm a gigantic nerd, so my favorite movies include Star Wars, Good Will Hunting, and Interstellar. The English major in me adores classic novels like Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood, Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut, and anything by Chaucer. If you want to talk books, I'm your gal. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taught English to a group of immigrant girls in Bilbao--legitimately one of the most rewarding experiences I've had and it solidified my want to be a teacher.

I'm very clean and quiet. I am extremely low-maintenance and would love to help in any way around your house while I am there (a few restrictions to that statement, of course). I won't eat your food unless you offer it to me and I will try not to be stinky.
