About Me

I am a 23-year-old graduate student, on my way to becoming a therapist! I'm halfway through my program and loving it so far - who needs a social life, really.

I'm a barista in my "spare time," and spend a lot of time painting, drawing, dreaming of places to visit, and hanging out with my friends. I love pizza, cities, peppermint, reading, trashy and/or old chick flicks, and personal conversations. Overall I'm pretty easy-going and enjoy meeting new people.

I'm not sure if I should include this type of thing in here, but I'm also very neat and considerate when staying at other people's houses. I love that couchsurfing is an option, and never want someone to regret hosting me. I'll do my best to always be aware of what I'm doing and how it may impact my hosts.

**please note if you want to be hosted that we have TWO CATS. both very friendly, but I understand allergies and don't want anyone to get themselves into a situation they'll regret :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet new people and experience places for what they really are! I've never been super into the "touristy" aspect of traveling, and Couchsurfing is an incredible way to get to know locals.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: anything "hipster with an acoustic guitar." I'm a cliche, can't help it.

Movies: rom coms, thrillers, an OCCASSIONAL horror movie.

Books: Most Young Adult stuff (Harry Potter, Hunger Games, etc), many psychology-esque books (Brene Brown, Irvin Yalom, Siegel)... I like what I'm studying. Too much, maybe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Graduated college in 3 years? Was an Emergency Medical Technician? Attempted to write a book (and got about 200 pages in) when I was in 7th grade? Do these count as amazing?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Kindness, good conversation, a lot of psychological information that may or may not be helpful :)

Can also bring baked goods from a famous Seattle bakery.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Rwanda, Switzerland, Uganda

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
