Overview
About Me
Originally from England, I have been travelling for almost 2 years now. I live every day to the fullest, I see the silver lining to all situations and I get by, by laughing all day!
I studied at university in Oxford, and after working for a few years in consulting and marketing I decided to take the life changing decision to quit and leave the societal norms behind.
I don't believe in regrets, and all I want to do is make people smile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After 2 years of travelling I have been lucky enough to find a job in Hanoi, and what better way to start my integration than to meet people that live within the city, and hopefully be welcomed into their home.
Interests
I love to travel, obviously, I like terrible jokes (and making them), running, being in the water, generally any fun activities. Alongside wine drinking and good food eating.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a fairly eclectic taste in music, from T-Swizzle (Taylor Swift for anyone unclear), to Alt J and Jay Z.
I love films based on a true story, and comedies,
I like books that I can't put down, so I find autobiography's highly interesting. Including Marching Powder and Mr Nice. I like books about drug trafficking apparently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having originally never been outside of Europe before, and never riden a motorbike, I decided to buy a motorbike in Vietnam, and spent a month riding from North to South, in a trip that I aptly named 'The Wong Way Down' - genius I know.
If you are lovely enough to let me crash on your couch then I'll elaborate on this incredible story.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone in life has their own story, and their own battles. I believe in treating people the way you would like to be treated, and paying kindness forward.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share a dodgy joke, and a yummy home cooked meal - by me. I can also share all of my stories, and I hope to hear all of yours too.
