About Me
Hi everyone, I’m Kay (28 years old) from the Atlanta USA. I am a theater teacher by degree. When I was in America, I started holding space for mindfulness in Atlanta by hosting in-person and virtual events. I still do monthly women’s circles online. When I travel, I love to have a really immersive experience. Looking for hosts who are interested in cooking together, sitting in coffee shops and/or language exchange. I now travel with my partner, Manuel (33 y/o) and we’re backpacking from Bangkok to Bali in 4 months!!
For My Astrology Friends: Scorpio (Sun), Scorpio (Moon), Taurus (Rising)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am spending the year abroad. In late Aug 2023 I quit my job of 3 years and put my home up for rent. As an American, I found living in the US to be very tiring. You do the same thing week after week with very little relief. My goal with this year is to really fall back in love with everyday life. I want to find ways to appreciate the little things in life and slowly move through my day to day. I’ve done the quick bucket list travel lifestyle but now slow living feels so good to me.
