I grew up with both parents in the Navy so we moved a lot, but it kind of worked out where I spent the first decade of my life in Virginia, and the second in Florida, with some minor places in between. I think it was all the moving that has made it hard for me to stay in one place too long. I finished my Bachelor's degree in political science (BA) at a small college in Florida, and now I've just completed my first semester of law school, at a private school in Connecticut! I live in CT full time now!
Outside of school, I like to travel (obviously), but I'm not big on travel photography as I think I should be going to these locations for myself, and I should carry experiences and memories and stories of adventure, and not trinkets, dust-collectors, and photos. I also like to read, journal, and binge watch whatever is popular at the moment on Netflix! :-)

I'm a college student so travel can be an expensive luxury I shouldn't be able to afford. Couchsurfing will hopefully cut back some of those costs so I can explore some areas more local to me without having to make several day trips and return home each time!

音乐、电影和书籍

I'm really into all kinds of music. Growing up in the South, I do have a special appreciation for some country music, and whatever pop is on the radio! I also really like the Bee Gees, the B-52s, Elton John, Whitney Houston, etc. But then I'll switch over to (pop) punk, like Blink-182, Sum 41, The Front Bottoms, etc! I'm really into it all!

When it comes to movies, I'm the same way. I have to say some of my favorite movies ever are 27 Dresses (a chick flick), National Treasure (I'm not joking, I LOVE this movie), Armageddon (and literally any other awful movie), and Mama Mia (who doesn't love Meryl Streep in a musical?!).

Since starting law school I don't have much time for pleasure reading, though I will say I've recently (re)read The Bell Jar, by Sylvia Plath, and it's probably the tenth time I've read it. I also have this special love-hate relationship with The Sun Also Rises, by Ernest Hemmingway. See, the first time I read it was in high school, and I HATED it. It reads like a diary and is boring, and not very deep or artistic whatsoever. But the second, third, and FOURTH times I've read it, I've kind of fallen in love with how much I hate the book, the writing, the characters, the lack of development, .... everything.... I love to hate this book!

I'll be honest, I don't know what this section is expecting of me...

I'm learning German, and am pretty conversational in Spanish, so if anyone is interested I can definitely talk a bit about that and some of my experiences in just academia and finishing college so early, moving on to law school, and so on.

Stories! And SO many of them! And maybe some mediocre cooking skills, in some southern comfort food, sweet (ice) tea, etc!
People are always interested in how much I've moved in life, as I guess most families live in one or maybe two homes, and I've moved probably over ten times...
People also always ask about my college, and law school experiences to date, and how I've managed working multiple jobs, and going to grad. school at such a young age.
I'm very open to talk about these experiences, as they've had a great impact on my life and who I am today! :-)
