About Me
EMERGENCY ONLY HOSTING!
We are in the process of fixing up our place and it's not really suitable for guests yet.
I'm a Christian and my faith is very important to me. In light of that, I try (not always successful) to center my life on loving everyone I meet the way that Jesus loves all of us; passionately, unconditionally, and sacrificially.
I met my husband, TJ Lankford, on CS in 2016. At the time I was living in Oklahoma and I hosted him for a night. We got married 16 months later and now we're happy living together in Florida.
I like to be active and athletic. I was a competitive rower and weightlifter in college. I love being outside. Camping, hiking, bouldering, swimming are some of my favorite things to do. I'm always excited to try something new, especially if it's active. I'm a bit clumsy, so don't be surprised to see me with scratches and bruises. Those are just signs that I'm having fun :)
I'm laid-back and easy to get along with. Easily entertained and easily content. I tend to have a dry, sarcastic sense of humor, especially with close friends. If you feed me I'll probably consider you my best friend (at least until the food is gone).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
CS is an incredible way to travel! I can't think of a better way to get a true authentic feel for the culture of any location. I also enjoy hosting and getting to know different people from across the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books
Don't ask me to make music. I'm bad at it. I'm happy to listen most anything though
Last time I read a book was in school. They made me do it.
I love kid's movies and comedies :D
Drama and action are great too, just no horror
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. I married the most amazing man in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!
2. I went on a hike once and got into a fight with a cactus. The cactus tripped me, so I kicked it. I'm pretty sure the cactus won.
3. I ate an AMAZING cheeseburger once.
4. I climbed Mt. Adams and face-planted on the way down. I couldn't control myself and ended my sliding down the mountain on my stomach in a Superman position for about a quarter mile. Closest I've ever been to flying (totally worth the physical pain the laughing bystanders).
5. I played the recorder in fourth grade. My mother told me that I sounded beautiful and then said that I should play outside so all of the animals could hear me. Highlight of my musical career!
