Where to start...well, it's nice to meet you, I'm Kayla from Philadelphia. My profile says Edinboro but since I have moved on to the city life and am VERY happy here! I am a student studying communications and am incredibly passionate for what I study! It's kinda weird because I love to analyze and read between the lines when it comes to communication and rhetoric but what can I say? Anyways, I'm currently on my way to my bachelors and so happy to be finishing school for real this time!

In addition to this I'm also an artist; the kind that puts art into motion. Can you guess? I'm a hoop dancer. I teach kids hula hooping and am serious about practicing my art form, learning new tricks and practicing more advanced moves to incorporate into my dance such as handstands (my current goal). I've been started ten years ago and have been performing and teaching for four years now.

In general, I'm a nerd, a closet diva, and feel a deep passionate burning in my heart every time I'm reminded of the wonders of traveling and exploring the world.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life the way I do because I believe in our own journey that is to be fulfilled. We have our own missions and it is up to us to set ourselves out on our goals and dreams.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed across the USA when I was 20. Driving over 100 hours. It was insane and really tested me. I stayed with many different people and got to see life's perspective through their eyes and home. Everyone I've stayed with has taught me something and I truly appreciate the support of people I received in this soul searching journey.

Hmm, probably traveling and teaching hoop dance workshops in the NorthEast US. Although it was a short tour I am very proud of all the work I put into making it happen and proud that I made a profitable adventure while traveling as it reflects the way I would like to live in the future.
