About Me
ABOUT ME
I am fairly quiet, I like the outdoors, and down to Earth.
Interests
I love to go hiking, biking, kayaking, sailing, cross-country skiing, most things outdoors really. I completed a four year B.Sc. in Natural Resources Conservation at UBC. I do a bit of bark tanning and enjoy making things. I work seasonally as a broom makers assistant. That means I work on handles and stitch brooms flat. I like to cook, garden, read, listen to live music, blues dancing, and contact improvisation dance.

Music, Movies, and Books
Here's a few examples of music I really enjoy: Hurray for the Riff Raff, Oliver Swain, Xavier Rudd, Ruthie Foster, Bruce Cockburn, Joni Mitchell, the bluegrass cover of the Shins, Joanna Newsom, Yo-yo Ma, amongst many others. If you've got some music you really like, let me know, I am open to learning about other artists.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Picking avocados in Ecuador (2008), living in a tree fort in the Yukon on my uncle's property for a summer (2010), driving the Dempster Hwy (2011), biking from Vancouver to Campbell River on vancouver Island (2010), and returning to the arctic as a researcher for the University of Victoria's ethnoecology lab (2012) are a a few things that stick out in my mind.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always many things to learn and share.
