California is an amazing place to travel.. you can bike/hitchhike from the north coast to the southern coast (via hwy 1) and see the most radically different views (in both the context of scenic and political).

I have lived in San Francisco for 7 years and Barcelona for 2. In San Francisco I studied visual anthropology with an emphasis in documentary film and Latin American studies and a minor in human rights and peace studies. In Barcelona, I studied Spanish and took some courses in art and film through the centros civicos. I spent the last two summers in Ecuador learning about how extractive industries are affecting the forests and communities in the cloud forest and the Yasuni National Park.

Now I am between studies so decided to traveling Spain with my best friend from San Francisco.
