Overview
About Me
I’m from Vancouver, but the past few years I’ve mostly been living in a university town three hours drive south of Toronto (London, Ontario). I’m studying public health and currently working on health policies. In 2022 I was on an exchange semester in Oslo and spent a month as an au pair in Italy. Recent I returned from my exchange in Lyon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Making new connections and sharing life stories. I started solo traveling not long ago and it’s quickly become my favourite way of traveling. I enjoy the spontaneity and the conversations shared with people. Something about the mutual trust in strangers creates the most special bonds.
As a host I would like to offer a safe space for solo female travelers. Through personal experience, I understand the challenges.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the summer of 2020, I wanted to improve myself. So I learned to fix bikes and worked as a bike mechanic.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to make food. Last summer I made 20 cheesecakes to perfect a recipe.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like to believe I embody the Canadian stereotype of being nice. Being next to the US we are overshadowed in almost all aspects. So much so that the rest of the world generally doesn’t know much about us. But I’m always more than happy to talk about the Great White North 🍁, especially the Pacific coast.
