Hi! I'm Kayla and I love being a member of couchsurfing! I have had incredible experiences with this in the past.. I am so grateful to have made lasting friends and seen such great kindness between strangers. I am looking forward to someday being a host as well!

I currently live in CT but over the next few months will be moving to central California! Right now I am working in a brewery while I career search (something in the food movement) and in my free time I like hiking, being outside, running, drinking beer, and gardening!

Interests

I work for the Appalachian Mountian Club in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in the "High-Mountain Huts"
In 2015 I graduated from UConn with a BS in Nutritional Science and Sustainable Crop Production. I have spent 5 years volunteering and working for a non-profit in my community that addresses food insecurity and aims to improve the health of residents. I hope to continue this work in another community!
