One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever done definitely has to be planning the first ever Lavender Graduation, a graduation recognition ceremony for LGBTQ students, for Texas A&M. It sounds like a small thing, but for students who struggled to get through their college experience as LGBTQ individuals in Texas, acknowledging their struggle is extremely important and needed.

Some other semi-amazing things: I completed the Warrior Dash in 2012; I've been to Barcelona, Lisbon, Prague, London, Paris, and Milan; and I was a camp counselor at a camp for people with disabilities. (It's amazing to see someone go down a water slide for the first time. I think I saw pure joy on his face.)

I love to learn about other cultures and ways of life, and I enjoy sharing my own. I also love to hear others' philosophies regarding life, love, and loss.
