About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is going to sound cheesy, but I'm here to make new friendships in diverse places all over the world! But more importantly, I want to be able to give back to the locals for sharing their country with me! I'm big on community service and I can't help but want to learn how I can share a bit of positive influence to show appreciation to the places I visit. I just wanna be able to make some great memories with some fantastic people while doing so!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music~ALL kinds! But mainly indie pop
Movie Genre~Dinsey???
Musical~ Split between Hair Spray and Sweeney Todd
Book~ Either Gathering Blue from the Giver series, Four Loves by C.S.Lewis or The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Costa Rica on a global mission trip and helped repurpose old school buildings so that they could be used again for education! It was hard work but serving the locals and getting to know their needs was well worth it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied abroad in South Korea for three months, learning Hangul in the intensive language program at Hanyang University. It was really fun to be in a class full of other foreigners who appreciated the country's culture and we all ended up becoming close friends. On the side, I made a lot of new companions by offering to help local Korean's practice their English over coffee and now I have long-lasting relationships with people that can't wait till I go back to Korea to visit!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to collect postcards from everywhere I go, including my own state back in America! I think the most thoughtful present anyone can receive is something personal so I'd love to write my appreciation on the back and give my hosts something beautiful that they can hang somewhere to remember me by!
.... I also make some delicious breakfast burritos, so I've been told!

Countries I’ve Visited
