Overview
About Me
I would describe myself as adventurous, loving, and optimistic. I am a college student who, like many others before me, has the desire to see the world and discover new places, people, and things. I grew up in a small town in rural Indiana, so to live in a big city (Madrid) and be experiencing other parts of the world is basically a dream come true for me. I'm always looking for a bright side in times of trouble.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I had a friend teach me about couch surfing and I love the idea of the community and the mutual benefits. I am not currently able open my home to guests, but I can't wait to have a permanent residence where I can assist others in learning about a new place.
Interests
I love being active! In the past I have been a member of a competitive dance team, a track team, and a rowing team and loved every second.
I always enjoy opportunities to hike and be outdoors.
I say hello to every dog I see, and I will NEVER turn down an opportunity for chocolate.
Reading, writing, and learning is very important to me, as well as expanding my horizons and meeting new people with different cultures.
Naps are my official hobby.
My ultimate bucket list item is to do El Camino de Santiago in Spain.

Music: Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, Taylor Swift, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Train, The Script, George Ezra, and a whole lot of country music
Movies: The Longest Ride, Footloose, A Walk To Remember, Harry Potter, and more that I can't think of right now.
Books: I am a sucker for love stories. I love nonfiction books, especially to do with language, statistics, and sociology.
