2018 update: just moved to Sweden. Soon to start hosting and surfing again as we settle down :)

I'm a teacher by profession and have been teaching English in Korea for the past two years. My fiance and I are currently traveling for about ten months through Europe and the United States of America! Right now we are driving a somewhat of a square shape around the USA! We have had the most incredible adventure and some of our best moments have been with the people we have met and the conversations we have shared with new friends!

I love traveling, meeting new people and I LOVE food!
Enjoy being outdoors, taking hikes, having picnics, people watching.
I am a complete animal lover and will show you pictures of my dog without you even having to ask!
Love practicing yoga and I hope to continue learning and growing.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm all about traveling the world as much as possible and learning about different cultures. I love to have an authentic feel of a place so there is no better way than to meet up with locals! I love meeting new people and making friends. Of course traveling can be difficult so it's so great to be able to have the help of someone familiar with the area.

We like to travel in a way that allows us to experience the authenticity of a country, meet people and still have quiet time. We like to arrange our travels by mixing our stay with guest houses, hostels, couch surfing and work away/volunteering opportunities.

We really look forward to having a home base one day where we can host people and show them our home and learn about others cultures, travels and experiences. This has definitely become a way of life that we would love to incorporate!

Intereses

Reading - i love recommendations by people.
Yoga - have loved trying new classes in each place we stop
Running - the best way to get my bearings of a new city/ place we find ourselves in (and burn off the calories we are about to eat in said place)
Cooking - love learning new recipes and dishes from countries we have travelled to! Im not the greatest cook though.
Talking - I can do this all day!
