I came to Rome, Italy in 2013 to be an Au Pair for a year, and never ended up leaving. In fact I started my own little network of Au Pairs, Nannies and Babysitters here and am always happy to help them out, give advice and host them in my home.

I left NZ at 26 years old and decided to travel a bit, before coming to Italy for 1 year, and then after that the plan was to go to the UK and back to my profession as an accountant.....however plans are made to be changed! And after seeing the world.....I knew I wanted to stay in Europe and experience more of what the world and life had to offer me.

I travelled to Dubai, Egypt (in 2013...had no idea about the revolution at the time), then to London and on a 2 week tour through Europe ending up in Rome. For the past 4 years I have been working as a nanny for a family here in Rome, and also get to travel the world with them, it's AMAZING seeing the world through the eyes of a child.

I have recently completed a Masters degree in Development Economics and International Cooperation at a university in Rome, and have now returned to my hometown of Auckland, New Zealand to be close to family and see where things take me.

Books: I really do need to read more.....

Movies: Not much of a movie buff, I do enjoy watching movies every now and them but not something I do to often as I prefer to get out and about and interact with people
