Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite artists/bands are: Animal Collective, Bon Iver, Bondax, Caddywhompus, Dan Croll, Delicate Steve, Deerhunter, Dream Koala, Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bear, Kishi Bashi, Neutral Milk Hotel, Panda Bear, Peter Bjorn and John, Phantogram, Portugal. The Man, Eddie Vedder, Random Rab, Sylvan Esso, Tame Impala, Toro Y Moi, Sufjan Stevens and Vacationer
I like Miyazaki and Wes Anderson films. I love Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and documentaries about the environment and space.
I mostly read rock climbing guides but have a soft spot for poetry like Mary Oliver, Pablo Neruda, Henry David Thoreau. I like to read books that inspire me to adventure out of my comfort zone: Call of The Wild, The Wild Truth/ Into The Wild, Let My People Go Surfing, The Last Child in the Woods, and Into Thin Air.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I started my own outdoor active apparel company, "SolSlab."
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook. I would like to learn more about conservation (specifically marine) and wildlife behavior. Learning to tattoo.
