About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I hope to bring haha's and lala's to everyone's lives, whether that be through strange jokes or bizarre events.

ABOUT ME

I packed up my life into 1.5 suitcases, and came to London to do a postgrad in London a few months ago.

I've been told that I'm quite indecisive, quirky, have a strange sense of humour (you'll laugh at me, not with me), and forgive others easily. I guess you can find out for yourself if any of these things are true!

I'm not sure if the answer to life the universe and everything is 42. I'll have to get back to you on that one.

PHILOSOPHY

"People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they're not on your road doesn't mean they've gotten lost." —Dalai Lama

Music, Movies, and Books

X-Men, Doctor Zhivago

Lord of the Rings, Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures, Fall on your knees, An Imperfect Offering, Never Let Me Go

Beethoven, Debussy, Sufjan Stevens, Hiromi Uehara, Norah Jones, and Bon Iver play in my ear these days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Connecting with a host family in Alajuela, Costa Rica when we didn't speak the same language - sometimes when you don't have the right words, you just need good intentions and the rest will follow. Lastly, hearing the Dalai Lama's speech in Toronto.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to make Vietnamese fresh rolls (goi cuon), as well as Pho (noodles). I hope to learn how to speak French better, but hey, I'm just up for meeting new people and traveling around.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, France, Mexico, United States, Viet Nam
