I've been living in Thailand since December 2014 teaching English to 1st graders in Chachoengsao. I'm originally from the West Coast of the United States (Seattle, San Diego, and San Francisco) and love to explore new places constantly. Change is a good thing!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read but found myself reading the same story over and over again - she gets the guy she didn't expect, her job is either great or she moves to new city, etc. But recently started reading Gillian Flynn books and I'm hooked! I just finished Sharp Objects and I couldn't put it down. I'm now on a mission to catch up on lost time!

Music is easy - I like everything except screaming. I'll go hours listening to the same song and not even realize it.

Movies - I can't stay awake through them very often.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While visiting Koh Samet, I volunteered to jump rope on the beach with the rope on fire.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Crazy teacher stories about crazy kids. Oh, and food! I will take you to lunch or dinner. Thai culture taught me that a good meal is the way to show someone you care and appreciate them.
