ABOUT ME

i have a recognizable laugh and love to explore the world around me. i'm studying in washington state and am active in my community. i find issues of social and environmental justice to be very important to me. i love connections with other people, animals, smells, and music and find beauty in the details.

PHILOSOPHY

the classic - treat others as you would like to be treated. additionally, i try do my best at the tasks and adventures i take on. keeping an open mind is extremely important to me and i enjoy applying that open mind to the values, thoughts, and opinions of others. we all just want to be understood!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i live with my parents most of the time so cannot open my home to travelers, but i participate through generosity out there in the world and keeping my mind and heart open to others. it's amazing how many couchsurfers i meet out there in the world! i try to be the best couchsurfer i can be when i travel, doing my best to give back with meals, clean up, and passing of skills, knowledge, and laughs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i surfed for the first time in california a few years back. recently (summer 2012) i stayed with a few couchsurfers on the east coast. all were amazing experiences! i'm so grateful for all the people i've met.
