About Me
CURRENT MISSION
People say laughing makes you live longer, I really just want to spend all my time laughing.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 24 year old [almost 25] college student/blogger living in the great Seattle area with too many ambitions for my own good. I like trying new things and meeting new people, I work at Boeing and build airplanes (woot!) and travel as much as I can. I'm a firm believer in happiness and living for right now and I love to document my journeys via mediocre photography. (I'm on Flikr! Look me up!) This coming October I leave to travel Europe for as long as my savings will get me. Hopefully at least 9 months. Adventure is out there!
I want to... write a novel, travel the world, learn to speak French, invent something, learn to make jewelry, find the perfect walking shoes, begin to like tea, ride a camel and have experiences that make me feel alive.
PLEASE NOTE: I am currently in between homes so my couch is not available at the moment - hope to have this solved within the next couple of months.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In hopes of meeting some great people who wouldn't mind hosting me and my co-worldtraveling friend Rose on our travels from 2015-2016.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The Illusionist, Chicago, The Princess Bride, Moulin Rouge, Once, Away We Go, Harry Potter, Lord Of The Rings.
Music: For me music is more about lyrics. If I can't sing to it and enjoy what I'm saying then it's not for me.
Books: Sophie's World, HP, the Four Agreements, anything by Francesca Lia Block, The Thirteenth Tale, any prose.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It may not seem amazing to others but right now I'm teaching an ESL class to refugee students from all over the world. I love making even a small difference in their lives. Sometimes I leave so happy and full of pride and hope for my students I just want to cry.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully a fun adventure. I love to take candid portraits of people (check out my instagram @kayticlayton) as well.
