Hey! My name's Kaz, I'm 20 years old & I'm currently living in Olympia, WA. I was born in England, have lived in Paris for a while & have lived in North Carolina for around half of my life.

I initially signed up for couchsurfing to find a few places to stay on a trip I took to Oregon & Washington. I met a lot of really great people and had an amazing time, so I figured it was my turn to return the favor. I'm currently hosting folks in my apartment in Oly. We live five minutes from the Evergreen State University.

Reading & writing, listening to music & traveling, hiking & skipping. I'm interested in homesteading, self sufficient living & aquaponic farming (you can grow anything in water & fish poo!) I'm also a novice dungeon master & love to get down with some Magic: the Gathering so let me know if I should bring a deck...

I'm a big Death Grips fan but I also enjoy nice music that won't give you nightmares like James Blake, Chad Vangaalen, The Mountain Goats & William Onyeabor to name a few. I love to talk about music & I'm a moderator on the lovely musikchan.com. As far as my favorite movies, The Big Lebowski is near the top of that list. I'm also a big fan of HE Who Gets Slapped, Firefly & Serenity, and a steady diet of Seineld. As far as books, I really like Murakamis IQ84, as well as much of Lovecraft's stuff & many Stephen King books. Also Vandemeer's Area X. That book rocks.
