ABOUT ME
I'm a professional photographer in the TV/film business. Love the outdoors... ocean, mountains, deserts. Like good food, gardening, dinner parties, traveling, scuba diving, hot springs, climbing things. My boyfriend Brian and I have a sweet rustic canyon house in the Santa Monica Mtns. We have a cat, dog, 2 chickens, and composting worms. I love plants... house is filled with orchids. I'm learning to play the cello... so far I have 'twinkle twinkle little star' down. Which reminds me that I'm fascinated with astronomy, among many other sciences. I've been to Burning Man 7 times, jumped out of a plane twice, and want to learn how to sail. I'm a sucker for waterfalls, white sand beaches, and yummy desserts.
PHILOSOPHY
Be present and make the most of the moments. Always Be that which you want to inspire in others (honesty and kindness).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
once i was given a small tent on this amazing piece of private property in the rainforest of puerto rico, another time i stayed in an open treehouse on a coffee plantation near kona. i don't mind roughing it some when i travel... sometimes it makes you feel more alive and in touch with a place that way.

Music, Movies, and Books
a lot of foreign flix. I like movies that make you think with beautiful or unique cinematography styles. Books are mostly educational or informational (not too much fiction, a lot of science journals). I love music. Funk, pop, reggae, hip hop, classical, disco, turntablism and beat science..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
jumped out of a plane, swam at night in a cave with a preganant shark, peered deep into a flower... theres amazing things everywhere all the time in ordinary places if we pay attention.
