About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to be happy

ABOUT ME

Honest (too honest sometimes), outgoing, loud, generous. Crazy.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't do anything you don't want people to know about. I tell everyone everything! I have no secrets.

I also don't buy anything Made in China, because i'm a member of the Australian Tibetan Society who fights for Autonomy for Tibet, and I think its hypocritical to buy all the products from the country that is oppressing Tibetan culture, religion and people

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in cairns now, not Canberra and I'm away a lot for work. I have had some time off couch surfing but keen to start hosting again.

With regards to couchsurfing - for me - when surfing its about meeting locals and getting to know the real area, rather than the tourist traps of a city. I usually travel alone so it’s a great way to meet people and create really unique genuine travel experiences.

As a host - I like to show people around my town. I’m not interested in hosting people that are just looking for free accommodation. I travel a lot and have a busy life so I need notice for hosting. I only host about once a month because of this too.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did my first couchsurfing experience in Kushiro, Japan with Robin and Diana several years ago. They were fabulous, and made my trip to Japan truly memorable.

Interests

Sport and Travel. I also love animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 lizards, geckos, frogs and a snake. I play AFL, Netball, I love dancing - mostly to dance music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Iguacu Falls, absolutely amazing.
Watching West Coast be the first non-Victorian team to take the AFL Cup outside of Victoria by beating Geelong in the 1992 grandfinal.
