Overview
About Me
I'm passionate about sustainability, ecology and community building. I recently finished by degree in Human Geography (think urban planning and the sociology, psychology, politics and economics of human spaces). I founded a Permaculture landscaping company in Edmonton in 2016 and am currently running it as a full-time job.
I love outdoor pursuits like gardening, cycling, camping, backpacking climbing and skiing. I love to design things and work with my hands. I'm humbled and inspired by the beauty, power and efficiency of nature.
LGTBQ2S friendly. Open-minded and curious 😉
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friend Marcin and I will be cycling from Edmonton, Canada to San Jose, Costa Rica (10 000+km) from September to December 2018. If you're along the way we'd love to drop in for a visit!
I love the idea of a sharing economy, helping people to travel and experience the world by sharing the bounty of our own homes and couches! There's no better way to get to know someone, their background and culture than by living, eating and talking with them. I want to contribute to this community by hosting people when I am able, and by being a good surfer, giving back to everyone I meet and leaving spaces better than I found them.
Interests
I had been vegan for a long time and now I'm transitioning to more of a local, context-based diet. I love to cook and explore the flavours of other cultures.
