ABOUT ME

Too many ideas, too little time!
I'm always rushing somewhere, nevertheless, in most cases I'm late.
I'm trying to be creative, I've done many things, yet only few of them remained my hobbies. I can't stand being weak at something, so I prefer not to do it at all. That's why I don't dance, for example. Well, unless someone needs to be cheered up. For this purpose it's perfect.
My biggest hobby (alternately you can call it a passion but this term obliges...) is music. I've grown up in a house with three guitars, piano and lots of singing, surprisingly, none of wchich I can do well. But I'm trying!
I've finished a bachelor's degree in ethnoliguistics, my main languages were English and Russian, although I'm hoping to improve my German and start Spanish, as well. Or Norwegian? Or maybe continue Japanese, which I started and then mercilessly dropped three months later. Don't know yet, but for sure, languages won't cease to be my hobby. I've lived in Cologne, Germany, for two years, so I can get a message across in this language as well.

PHILOSOPHY

The simplest of all simple philosophies. For me, being good to everything that lives is good enough. If making others happy makes one happy - that's the happy philosophy. Although overusing the word 'happy' isn't one of the rules at all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the pleasure to be hosted a few times, all of them turned out to be different but great experiences! I'm looking forward to having even more new experiences, making new friends and having even more conversations.
For some time now I'm making a break with intense traveling and started hosting for a change. So far, it's really great.

I sing a bit and play piano a smaller bit. For complete beginners - I could teach you the basics. For advanced - I'd love to learn more! I enjoy making music and a busking trip around Europe is my dream.

I've also taken up playing ukulele lately, would love to improve it. Any uke-lovers out there?
