ABOUT ME

Since I was a kid I used to travel with my family, especially with my dad. His motto to spend his money not-on-a-big-villa but rather on trips-to-places-your-classmates-have-never-been-to has given me a great opportunity to see many parts of the world. Also, attending some youth summits showed me that meeting foreigners and experiencing different ideas is good for your personal development and more importantly, great fun!
Still, there are many things to be seen. This organization will probably be of help.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel, visit and see. But don't try to become the local -even though you might come close, you'll never be one of them. Adjust but don't assimilate. Be proud of your own heritage and background but also learn from others. Be open and challenge yourself. Travelling is most fun when it doesn't come super-easy.. But don't become a hermit. Travelling is also costly, but you don't have to be a millionaire (although it makes it easy).

And for all those who have a fetish for 'backpacking lifestyle'. If the road is tough, take a backpack. If the majority of roads is paved, take a suitcase. You'll be happy you took one.. :)
