About Me

I love football and traveling around the world. My major was Education but I have got a degree in Sociology and Cultural Studies. I love philosophy and Western Marxism too. I have got a doctoral degree from Osaka University. I speak English and Japanese. I am a beginner-level learner of Portuguese as well. I am an associate professor at the University of Education, teaching Human Rights and Ethnic Minorities in Education. I think I am easygoing and friendly. Love talking and listening to others. I hosted many surfers but I moved to the new house and covid19 made me away from hosting for a couple of years.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a host, sometimes I would decline a request when I am too busy. Remember my flat in the city is one small room studio flat with a loft. The loft has a double bed and studio has a sofa bed. Check the photo of the house before you request. No separate bedroom in the flat. My place is 12 mins walk from Hakata st and Tenjin.

As a traveller, I love backpacking even though I am aged. I mostly travelled with my wife in the past but sometimes I go travelling alone or with friends. I don't smoke. I joined Couchsurfing mostly because I would like to find a place to stay abroad.

Interests

I love football. My team is called Cerezo Osaka. I love Arsenal as well. I was born and grown up in Osaka but I live in Fukuoka for work at the moment.
