Born and raised in south Louisiana with an appetite for new people and places--and, yes, food. My favorite thing to do is dance. I've taught English to immigrants and worked for the benefit of refugees from all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing while studying in Chile but didn't do much of anything until I moved home and got my start hosting some awesome folks traveling in and through my hometown of Lafayette, LA. Since then, I haven't been able to host but have crashed on just a few couches, in Montreal/QC and Washington, DC--and have fallen for the CS community there. Though my involvement is sporadic, I am so thankful for the people I've met through CS!

And also, fun fact: I've helped about 20 refugee families get donated cars.
