Hello,

I've recently reactivated my account as I only have good memories of couch surfing, and would like to give back to this community and meet interesting travelers. I also plan to travel soon, and know how useful a sofa can be.

In 2011, me and my two best friend traveled in South America with help from this platform, and I've met many lovely couch surfers since, often people visiting the Faroe Islands (my home town). I currently work and live in Cambridge, and enjoy pretty much the same things as my old self, so might as well leave the about section below untouched! In more recent years, I've studied sociology and media in Brighton and Cambridge, where I now work as a book editor.

Hi There!

My name is Karina.. I am a very curious and social person, who loves to travel and meet new people and explore new cultures. And that is the reason why me and two of my best friends - Katrin & Bára - are going hitchiking in the start of 2011. I graduated this summer and at the moment I am working very hard to earn some money for out exciting tour :)

So much for the facts. It is quite difficult to describe oneself as a person, but I can always try pointing out my main interests...

I love music, movies, theatre, paintings and all kinds of art. Also i love to discuss religion, philosophy and politics, since I find human interactions and different point of views very interesting.

I love going out with my friends - especially for a concert or some kind of cultural event, but also I love to party and drink while dancing to sassy music. Furthermore I highly enjoy late nights with close friends drinking red wine and listening to good old music, while talking about life and existential worries.

I hate... this one is hard! *correction*: I don't like so much.. when people aren't interested in change and new ideas, when people show no interest of their life or anything around them. And I don't like math, chemistry & science studies so much, even though they at times can be extremely interesting! I especially don't like when life gets monotonous and boring...

I believe, that everyday is a day to learn something new about yourself and the world we live in. I believe there is not only one truth or answer, but several truths and answers that fit to each one of us. But my beliefs and personal views are changeable - even though, I usually will do everything I can to be the one who is right in any discussion!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Me and my housemate, Arturo, both like travelling and meeting new people. We are sociable and friendly, so would be interested in hosting people travelling in Cambridge.
