About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission in life: finding some sort of happiness with a bit of old-school edge, while serving others. I think that just may be my calling in life.
ABOUT ME
I am a 30 year old caught between adult responsibilities and my constant desire to be a perpetual college student. I either want to get dressed to the 9s or rock it in leggins, some crappy t-shirt and hair which looks like I just rolled out of bed.
I am a teacher and I feel that service-oriented jobs are my calling in life. I feel like if you can't change other's lives for the better than your purpose on this Earth isn't really being fufilled.
I love the kids I teach and I love the humanities. I want to teach to empower youth. Empowerment and education is the first step in realizing your dreams and then helping others. While this may seem overly romantic, I want to make a dent in the crazy, screwed up US educational system that is marginalizing our youth and is more focused on politics and salaries than on empowerment and authentic learning outcomes.
PHILOSOPHY
Read Tolstoy's Three Questions and you will know.
