I have a love for traveling and meeting new people. I live in the sunny state of Florida. I enjoy active sports like volleyball, tennis (although I am not good) and snow skiing! I laugh a lot and tend to be very sarcastic. Also - I love Disney! I feel very lucky to have it right around the corner since I live in Orlando. Finally, I am a huge animal person - absolutely love them. I've got my own big golden doodle named Marley.

To build a network of those who also like to travel. Every day that passes is a day less in my life, so I need to live it to the fullest. I want to travel more, and make it about the experiences and not about the cost. I would rather meet locals and see how they live than staying in a hotel.

Hmm...living in Florida doesn't provide us with a whole lot of seasons. We get summer (temperatures go from hot to really hot) and then maybe about a month of cold weather in the winter. 3 years ago, my boyfriend and I went to the Smoky Mountains in the Fall (October) and it was one of the best experiences of my life. We now do it every year. The reds and oranges of the leaves, the cinnamon and pumpkin flavors, pumpkin carving, even apple picking...I can't explain it. But it is one of my favorite things and I look forward to it so much every year.

I tend to enjoy funny movies that are light-hearted. I can't stand anything that is scary, sadly - I am kind of a wimp!

I really do enjoy all types of music except maybe heavy metal. Every style of music is really enjoyable in different scenarios - good country on a lazy afternoon, folk-style music while cooking dinner, top hits while working out....they have their place.

I have been reading a lot more ever since I got a Kindle. I am currently reading the Nathan McBride series which I really like. I recently received the book by Neil DeGrasse Tyson called "Astrophysics for People in a Hurry." I haven't started it yet, but I will let you know how it is when I finish it. ;)

I love the Fast and the Furious movies. All of them. I always think that race car driving is something that I would have really enjoyed but never pursued. Besides that, I absolutely loved The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. It was such a unique movie with a lot of travel scenes. It was totally different than all of the other roles Ben Stiller usually plays as. I also love the Matrix movies.

Non-Travel:
I participate in Operation Christmas Child every year. The goal is to send Christmas presents to kids around the world that are less fortunate. I get support from several people in my community to help join in. I feel so fortunate with my life that I hope to bring joy to someone else's, especially by giving a gift to a child that they can open on Christmas!
