About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet the world!
ABOUT ME
I am in my first year of grad school in Bloomington, IL. I have a B.A. in International Communication with minors in Spanish and Global Studies, working on an M.A. in Intercultural and Development Communication. I am also teaching a freshman-level Communication/Public Speaking course, which is a lot of fun!
Most of my days are spent at school/teaching, doing 'church stuff,' running on the awesome bike trail here, and playing my violin. I love faith, family, friends, music, the outdoors and adventure, national parks, big cities, and aquatics. I love to learn about this small and beautiful world, and connect with all sorts of people on a personal level.
I have traveled all over the U.S., been to Mexico, Canada, Stuttgart, Lyon and Paris, England, Italy, and all over Spain.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live and love the way Jesus did.
If I said I would never, or could never do it...then I'm going to do it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went couch surfing for the first time in Chicago last fall! It was so fun. The people you meet are great! I finally have a couch available, so feel free to visit Normal IL - most restaurants per capita in all of the U.S. and headquarters for Beer Nuts Co.
