Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Thor is reminded by Odin that a home is not a place, it is a people. Similarly, I believe that a city is not its locations, not its monuments, not its main attractions but its people. There is something unique about how a local as well as an immigrant represents a city and takes ownership of it. I believe the only way that a city can be travelled is by seeing it through the eyes of the people that inhabit it. Would love to have conversations about philosophy, politics and sports.
