ABOUT ME

I was born in western Colorado and raised outdoors hunting and fishing. I was trained in painting and carpentry in my youth and I usually revert to these trades to pay the bills. I left Colorado at 18 to go to sea and fulfill my lust for seawater and adventure. I've since also worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer and Conductor in six states but lived in Wyoming. I am an avid hiker and spent many days mountaineering and climbing while in Colorado. I left Wyoming and bought my sailboat, Sailing vessel Psychoseas. She is an 11 ton Cutter Ketch and I sailed her to Kauai Hawaii from Long Beach CA in 2010. I love to take visitors sailing and hiking. I also have two spare bunks for that wary travelers often describe with great enthusiasm! My goal is to sail this boat around the world in the next few years and become a yacht delivery skipper.

PHILOSOPHY

Living with purpose, knowing, not thinking that I have purpose and finding one to prove it.
Striving to make the best choices and continuing to do so even after making less favorable decisions.
Forgiving anything or anyone (including myself) that makes me feel any negative emotions and abandoning jealousy and greed.
Giving all Possible to help those I can
The meaning of life to me is life, with love being its summit.

I would love to host from time to time. I also know many of the islands trails and campsites, as well as, taking people sailing. I often go sail every weekend.
