ABOUT ME

Im almost 21, from dallas tx.

I am living in Paris from January to May, studying... I live with a really tight host "family" my host mom Danielle and her 20 yr old son Reuel, we talk (mostly in english - hes gonna be a master by the time i leave) about soccer (France, PSG, FC barcelona, all UEFA) movies - I download movies and give them to him, vice versa, we make recommendations for each other, hes a really cool guy.

im in my 1st semester of french as part of the programs requirement, and my host mom helps me at the dinner table with it (not as much as I help her english haha)

thats my host family, my real family is in dallas, they are cool too i guess.

umm, me. I'm really tall, 6'4 or something, dunno what that is in meters.

i LOVE HOCKEY, im sad that its not as prevalent in this part of Europe, ive met a few swedes and finns who I can talk about hockey with, so that is cool, but i dont think I will have the time to make it up there.

Im a movie buff, taking a french new wave cinema class right now which is cool, but most of my experience is with hollywood cinema, but i do see tons of art house movies and really want to expand my horizons, and i can tell you all about my favorite movies.

McMafia - some british author writing about eastern europe since the fall of communism, and organized crime all throughout the world.

one of my favorite authors is Mark Bowden

killing pablo - both incredible, and i have to read guests of the ayatollah.

i also really like military history, WWII, (french empires recently), um yea, nerdy stuff like that

shit, all that stuff is really boring probably.
but im not a boring guy, no douuubt. ha.

PHILOSOPHY

trying to figure these deep questions out right now.

but i think about big and small a lot, what is our position in life, on this planet, in the universe , its mind boggling when you think about it.

i should be writing a paper so i should move on.

NONE! my little bed in paris is like a couch, but ive lived in dallas my whole life and have just stayed in hotels/hostels when travelling.
