ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Katie, I'm a year out of college and was surprised to find myself with a job shortly after I graduated - and even luckier to find that I loved it! I'm from Texas but live in Virginia, planning on moving to Louisiana some time soon. I live in the woods and can't imagine living anywhere else - I love spending time outside, gardening, reading a good book, and travelling when I can!

I've couchsurfed once, I'm so ready to host anyone, and I spread the couchsurfing hospitable community-oriented spirit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience in couchsurfing informally happened while camping in Arizona, when a wonderful woman in the next site invited us to stay with her in Santa Fe the next night. Then I stayed with a surfer in Boston which was SWEET!

I once put my boot on and felt something weird inside - I took it off and a snake fell out! Aside from that, I've been SO LUCKY to travel and see the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids, and my personal most-incredible-place, Hagia Sofia. :)
