One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In November of 2006 I ran a full marathon. After running for 25 miles straight (not walking a single step) I was in too much pain and too exhausted to run any more, so I started to walk, but the pain was so bad that I could not even stand, and I started to crawl on my hands and knees towards the finish line just a mile away. I then realized that there was not enough blood flow to my legs, and so I began to alternate walking until I couldn't stand the pain, and crawling, for about a third of a mile. Eventually my dad, who was also running the race, caught up to me and helped hold me up and together we made it to the finish line.
