Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to live and learn.
ABOUT ME
I'm a documentary filmmaker and educator currently working on a transmedia project looking at street art in the Philippines. I love traveling - the places I've been have impacted my life and worldview in incredible ways, and I'm always jonesing for the next trip.
PHILOSOPHY
Try to approach people with an attitude of love and forgiveness, and take in experiences with an open mind.
I'm (sometimes overly) passionate about things I believe in and sometimes quick to judge, but I do try and follow that advice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted several groups in Albany, a few in Winston-Salem, and look forward to hosting again when I have an apartment in the Bay Area of my own. Only surfed a few times but had great experiences!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Every hosting and surfing experience I've had has been extremely postive! I love meeting new people, however briefly.
Interests
Reading, hiking, politics, nutrition, gardening, dogs, watching movies, trying new craft beers, meeting new people, seeing new places.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love nonfiction - books and movies. My favorite authors lately are Oliver Sacks, David Sedaris, and Arthur C Clarke. I'll watch pretty much any documentary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seen the great rift valley in Kenya, swam in the Mekong river at 4000 islands in Laos, filmed the Dali Lama in India.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook and make documentaries!
