ABOUT ME

I do all of the following on a regular basis:
- listen to music
- play my violin
- drink coffee
- day dream
- make jewelry
- meander my way through wherever I am
- examine who I am, who I want to become, what I've learned
- do yoga
- read
- make friends
- write poetry or simply record my rambling thoughts
- plot my next adventure (I have many "next" adventures)
- learn
- dance (mostly salsa and swing)

Every time I see a new place, try to understand a new culture, or meet someone new, I find out a little bit more of who I am, where I'm going, and why I'm here.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies that are well thought out and that make me think, or show me something new about the world.

I love music more than anything else in the world. I like a large variety, but lately I've been in a City and Colour/Alexi Murdoch/The Weepies/Lisa Hannigan/Damien Rice type of mood.

I could (and certainly have) spend entire days in a library and be perfectly content. Some of my favorites are Ishmael, Saltando Amarras, Cien Años de Soledad, Things Fall Apart, The Prophet.
