ABOUT ME

I've lived in Buffalo a good portion of my life, but have lived in Los Angeles, CA and Hoboken, NJ for stints of time and somehow ended up Las Vegas, NV!

I like adventuring and going off somewhere to see where I end up, but not without a plan first. First plan, then go! If I follow the plan--great! If not; that's okay too. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm willing to try this surfing thing out, I'd like to meet new people who are like-minded and open myself up to new and exciting experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had 4 surfing experiences so far and they were all amazing! so I'm open to keep going and meeting some more cool people! :) I'd host people if I am available and don't have guests. What I can offer is to show people around / take them on adventures in the areas i'm staying when I'm free :D

Interests

I enjoy spending time outdoors, playing with my hoops, practicing yoga, or teaching classes...running around in the rain or riding my bicycle with the wind on my back, staying up late, painting in a field or dancing in the sun on sandy beaches or in twilight of the woods. My interests are many and life is rarely dull; I try to find the fun in all situations.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite books include, Flow - The psychology of Optimal Experience, The Wind up Bird Chronicles, Kafka on the Shore, The Prophet, The Alchemist, Memoirs of a Geisha, Eleven Minutes and Tao of Pooh

Notable Movies: Almost Famous, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, all Musicals (especially Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera)

I like Music that I can dance to. I listen to a wide array of music, but I generally listen to a lot of electronic music. (house, funky house, techno, tech-house, breakbeats and world beat) But I LOVE the oldies (especially from the 60s,and 70s), some classic rock and even classical when the mood suits me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once taught yoga for a week in Costa Rica and a Hula Hooping class to 120 people in Buffalo, NY!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an Art Teacher, so i have loads of free time to travel. Outside of art, I teach yoga, meditation, hoop fit and hoop dance classes. I would like to travel the world performing, dancing, teaching and spreading the joy & magic of yoga one person at a time!
