ABOUT ME
Our family opens its door to anyone who doesn't mind a bit of clutter and a lot of fun. Currently I have an 15 year old living at home, but my other four adult children come and go depending on jobs and travel. We are omnivores who are usually perfectly content to stick to meatless meals to honor guests. We hope to meet interesting people from around the world, spreading peace one heart at a time.
PHILOSOPHY
Give what you envision in your own life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been asking CSers to send us a postcard from their journey or home. It's been really cool to receive mail from all over the world!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Now that I've been hosting for a few years I believe in CSing more than ever. A network build on trust and kindness isn't for everyone, but I think it's great.
Interests
Reading occupies a good portion of my free time. Crossword puzzles rock. I usually have various knitting, sewing, or other projects going.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
All five of my kids were born at home with the support of family and midwives. In the past, that was the norm; now it seems pretty amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can round up some needles and yarn if you're feeling the urge to knit. My son is learning the ukulele and may serenade us with a plucky tune. I believe in creativity in the kitchen, too. Express yourself!
Countries I’ve Visited
Botswana, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Tanzania, Turkey, Zambia
