About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just a young man living life, trying to overcome its challenges, to understand its messages; to walk its many paths to reach an unknown destination.
ABOUT ME
I'm a nice guy; a young guy; a shy guy slowly but surely making his transition into confidence. I'm good company for most: intelligent, funny and respectful. I smile a lot, I'm easy to please and easy to amuse.
I'm in Japan right now taking the biggest leap of life yet. I'm learning about Japan, about people and about myself on this trip, and I have a long way to go. I'm aware of my ignorance and my stubbornness and I'm trying my best to change that through this trip and many other trips to come.
There's much more to me, but there's only so much I can fit in a nutshell.
PHILOSOPHY
"Pure light is as blinding as pure darkness. If we are to see clearly, the two must co-exist within our hearts."
-Kevin D
This is my philosophy. Find balance. Do not love or hate blindly. Do not indulge too much or too little. Because we all see things differently, we must see things for ourselves rather than hearing others' perspectives
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, I'm participating only by surfing, which I've yet to do. I suppose I can say that I'm prospectively perpetuating the trustworthy community of CouchSurfing.org until I start surfing. After that, I'll be *actively* perpetuating said community.
When I return home, I intend to make available my couch to couch surfers in Southern Ontario, but that's not for a while.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I'm on my first trip right now, so when I come across that really amazing thing, I'll be sure to update this page.
Teach, Learn, Share
What I can share is my perception. I have given really good advice to very many people. Of course, I'm not nearly as wise as the Dalai Lama, but I certainly have a worthy opinion to offer. Please accept with a grain of salt.
Things I'd like to learn or improve on are drawing and martial arts skills. Also, I'm traveling with my violin and I need to improve my playing as well as my shyness, so let's jam!
What I'd love for anyone to share with me is their story; their perspective. I want to learn from the mistakes and achievements from others. Because I only have one life to live, I think that sharing life experience is essential to the development of young wise men.
