ABOUT ME

i'm from erie, pennsylvania and i go to the university of delaware. i'm a three language major, studying spanish, italian and french. but i love learning languages in general, and am willing to take a stab at any one of them. i love traveling, as well as reading, listening to music, watching movies and just going out and enjoying time with friends and family.

PHILOSOPHY

not to sweat the small stuff, and keep everything in perspective. if you don't, you'll spend all your time worrying about life instead of actually living it.

none, yet, but i'll definitely be surfing in belgium and the netherlands in the next few weeks.

Interests

traveling, meeting new people, sitting around all day listening to music or watching movies with a few close friends, going on long walks and exploring the city, going to the beach, riding roller coasters, drinking tea/coffee, going for a jog, watching basketball or american football.

Music, Movies, and Books

music--basically anything, but some of my favorites are portugal. the man, pink floyd, julieta venegas, erykah badu, avenged sevenfold, balkan beatbox, the beatles, calle 13, huecco, mischief brew, ani difranco.........i could go on and on.
movies--i'll watch just about any movie as well, but i really love movies by pedro almodóvar and stanley kubrick, as well as movies like amelie, amores perros, blazing saddles, donnie darko and beauty and the beast
books--a clockwork orange, slaughterhouse five, the lost city of z, the agony and the ecstasy, the great gatsby, the catcher in the rye, cien años de soledad, aura

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i climbed through the mountains of mexico to go swimming in a nearly-freezing river at the bottom of a waterfall.

i make a mean pb&j that would teach even those who aren't fans of peanut butter think twice about their opinion...
i'm also sincerely into languages, and am willing to help spread my skills (however lacking they may be sometimes) with anyone that wants to try to have a conversation with me.
