ABOUT ME

Hi guys, First of all, I just want to say how happy I am to discovered CouchSurfing communities and I am hoping that we'll have such an amazing journey together as we continue to pursue our own goal and dream in life. We're all a dreamer (right guys?) some want to travel around the world, some want to learn heaps of new language or some just want to have a great times in their local city. CouchSurfing just did that for us, I just can't believe what an opportunities CouchSurfing can provide for us. Well..enough with the appreciation word, let's get into my life! (That's what these box tell me to write "About me!") Hi! My name is Ponlawat Popermhem, my nickname is Kidd (In Thai it mean "Think") I was born and raise in Bangkok. But I spend my middle and high school life in both New Zealand and United State(Chicago) when my age was 12 to 18. Now I'm studied Journalism in Thailand at Thammasat University. The reason I studied in Journalism is because I'm a news geek and I have love for written words. I also played many sport in my lifetime Basketball, soccer, badminton, wrestling, you name it. I'm just a little man with a dream of having my own books title, I want to write book a learning more about this world. I just want to say thank you to everyone for given your time to read my personal description and I'm hoping to see you guys very very very soon.
No matter where we live, we are person, no matter what we do, we are human.

PHILOSOPHY

Since I'm a journalist student, I have to be open minded about everything so that I know and understand everyone communication. I have nothing against anyone believe. But
I believe that ethic is important for people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was inspired by one of the article on the CNN, and puff! (the magic dragon) I'm hook to CouchSurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in New Zealand, I stayed in a boarding school and during the long break we will have free time of exploring the country. I went to about 6 different couches in two years and it was the coolest things ever. Now that I'm in Thailand (My home) It's time for me to be a great host for you guys :)

I'm in to every sport stuff! traveling, camping, cooking, Politics (Every country politics except Thai!!) and News.
I can have a whole day conversation with people about history, current events for a whole day (But sometimes I just say stuff that doesn't even true) I'm in to many western stuff too since I used to live in the United States.

Movie: Lion King, just because it was the first movie I ever went to theater with my family.
Books: George Orwell books, His books might not predict or portrait an actual event right now but we never know, right?
Music: I'm into Kid Cudi music, He's a rapper from Cleveland. His music is so unique from another rapper that it grab my attention. His music portrait himself so well. Awesome beat too!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I get a chance to be a reporter at Cannes Lion Festival 2013 for the Thai magazine, I think it was pretty awesome because I get to interviews P Diddy also

Unfortunately, I'm not an expert in any things. Sure I can teach you Thai and Thai cooking but I'm more into sport. I can teach you how to play basketball and wrestling since I'm expert in it. Oh and I'm good at photography, I can teach you on that.
