Overview
About Me
I was born in Hangzhou, the "heaven on Earth" in China. At 5, I moved to Singapore and stayed there ever since. Currently, I am studying Industrial Design in Rhode Island School of Design in the United States. Phew, formalities aside. I would become a full-time food blogger if I didn't have any financial considerations. Food is actually the primary reason I travel (Well, also the people and the culture). I love sharing my passions and joy with the world, via blog posts and one-on-one connections with people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To me, the essence of traveling is meeting new people and exchanging stories. As an art student, I am also constantly looking for new inspiration to weave into my creations.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Chinese songs. Shoutout to JJ Lin and Hua Hua! I'm beginning to venture into rap music as well.
Movies: Thai horror movies and all the Khans.
Books: too many to list...A Hundred Years of Solitude and 1Q84 are definitely amongst the top.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cut a dead zebra open to observe vulture activity first hand in South Africa. My excitement and fear still linger in my mind, together with that stench.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A listening ear. My experiences and insights from my side of the world. I would also gladly paint your portrait as I carry watercolor and paper with me on all my trips, :)
