About Me
Hey couchsurf community!
My name is Keanu and I'm from Germany 🇩🇪
I got aroung the world a little in the past 2 years, been to places like New Zealand, India, Nepal, many states in the US, many places in Europe, and so on. Nothing will ever stop me from traveling. You know this feeling ;-)
Currently I am living in Germany, living as and entepreneur. Soon I will start University in Maastricht to finally settle down for a little time before starting the next travel adventure :-)
Before this I would like to see some more of my home continent: Europe!
Therefore couchsurfing, once again, can help connect people all around the world that should be connected with each other to make this world a brighter place.
hope the couchsurfing community here is as amazing, welcoming and exciting as it was in the good old USA 🇺🇸
a few quotes:
"You gotta risk it to get the bisquit"
"Be yourself, no matter what they say!"
"No risk no fun!"
"Look to the land to see who you are, but look with more than your eyes."
A little about myself:
As I said I'm from Germany in which I lived most of my life (- 1 year in which I lived in Minnesota, + 1 year in which I lived in New Zealand). I have always been a wanderer and traveling is such a great opportunity for all of us to make the world a better place by broadening our horizons so we can understand, interact and merge with different cultures and societies! Couchsurfing in my opinion speeds up that process immensly. As you can probably read between the lines: I'm a very open minded person who tries to enjoy life as much as possible and also help other people to do the same by communicating and connecting and simply having fun.
This September I am going to study International Business in the Netherlands with the goal of taking thoughts and ideas and putting them into reality by building a business to bring a product that will enhance life into the hands of the people! Organizing, planning and thinking - typical German traits with benefits and negatives of course.
"Never forget to have fun at whatever you're doing!"
"If you don't try you'll never succeed"
"A positive mindset is everything."
I'm an allrounder/generalist. I try to collect as many knowledge as possible and I like to try out new stuff and step beyond my boundaries to grow personally and be an example for other people. I love the outdoors and mother nature with all her gifts as well as Technology and Science.
History is what we learn from! But remember: There is no good and bad. It's all shades of grey.
Hiking, swimming, biking, climbing etc etc.
Always down for that kind of stuff +
more!
420 friendly and happy to share 😎
Yoga Enthusiast
Looking forward to all of you and all crazy experiences that are to come! 🌄
See you in New Zealand! ✌🏼
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing gives the opportunity to look through a whole different lense @ the places you travel. It is always good o know locals and to share experiences! It is a much warmer and friendlier athmosphere sleeping on a couch of a host than sleeping in a hotel room. Also I'm traveling alone which sometimes sucks to be honest. So meeting new people and sharing experiences would be great!
