I am a filmmaker and animator from Sydney Australia, currently doing a Masters of research on animation studies. My parents are Austrian, but I grew up in Australia, so my German is iffy. I am currently working on making a film and researching for my thesis.

To experience a place from a more local perspective and shortly be part of a different local lifestyle. I really cherish the moment when you have a moment of shared insight with a host/guest, that moment I have found is very memorable.

I'm a no-frills kind of person, so I prefer simple/basic accommodation, good company matters a lot more to me than a soft bed. I find meeting strangers and making friends one of the great joys of living, where people link up, who otherwise would have never met. I'm still in contact with some of my previous hosts.

Really enjoy chess! Rollerblading! Climbing both indoors and outdoors! I love movies, reading, basketball, saunas.

I really like to cook, for people and ideally, with people!

I like to read fantasy and sci-fi. Love Robin Hobb's work.
