First things first, I am sorry to say I am not in a position in life at this time to host couchsurfers. I created an account to find hosts as I travel across the US this November 2019, see below.

Not all that wander are lost, and I enjoy wandering through life.

I haven't enjoyed all that life has brought before me, but every great joy I've ever had was never expected. There was one day where I was late to my medical assistant training course, and my roommate gave me a lift on his motorcycle. After that, I was hooked on the experience of riding motorcycles.

In fact, that's my current goal for 2019. This November for by 24th birthday, I am flying from Hawaii to southern Florida, buying a Royal Enfield Battle Green (a motorcycle sadly no longer sold here), driving it across the southern states of the Continental US west, visiting family and places to eat and seeing sights, and shipping it from San Diego, CA back to Hawaii.

Primarily, to save money and prevent myself from going broke on my firs tvacation in a long time.

Second, to get to know people of all kinds. I may be an introvert, but I enjoy listening to and truly being with people as we, mostly they, talk.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I favor lyricless music. My favorites are videogame sound tracks, and lofi hiphop. There are a few other outliers, but these genres are my go-to.

My favorite movie of all time is Kingsman: The Secret Service. It knows exactly what it is, doesn't try to be anything else, and excels because it's being itself. I also like the Marvel movies, but as well-versed as I am with the comics and Hollywood media surrounding it, I don't love them to death.

I am a writer. I dream and work to support myself by writing. Writing what? Primarily fiction. I am working on a novel right now, but I'd also like to try write a movie, screenplay, TV shows, etc. My favorite novel is The Dark Tower, the Drawing of the Three by Stephen King. My favorite non-ficiton book is a tie between Ryan Holiday's The Obstacle is the Way and Ego is the Enemy, and Tim Ferriss's Tribe of Mentors.

When I was working in a medical facility, I dare say I saved a patient from possibly taking his own life at the cost of my job there.

Let's call him Irish, because he had an Irish accent. I can't remember what he was diagnosed with specifically, but it causes hormonal problems. He came into the clinic yesterday when I wasn't working, and was prescribed something to help him temporarily while Irish was on vacation in Hawaii. I came in the next day, and he calls saying he needs this medication that almost no pharmacy on Oahu has, and had suicidal thoughts.

At this point, a woman came into the clinic as I was on the phone with him.

I called a few other pharmacies on Oahu to help him find this medication, but no luck. Until I stumble on one. When I called Long's drugs/CVS, their systems are linked, and none of their branches on the island had it in stock. Walgreen's system isn't, so I called two random locations, and the third time was the charm. One Walgreen's close to his hotel had it in stock. I tell Irish where it is, and even emailed him a coupon (thanks goodrx.com!)

I call him back the next day to follow up, and Irish says he's feeling much better, calmer, and enjoying a barbecue with friends.

A few days after that, I was written up by my superior. My favorite part: I was accused of 'not being a team player" by helping out that woman I mentioned before by at least acknowledging her that we will be right with her, and my position will be terminated if something like that happened again. I had a written and counseling warning. I saw it as being sentenced with a crime and punishment with out a chance to explain or defend myself, and presumed guilty before proven innocent. Extreme choice of words? Maybe a little. But the fact was I was punished for not providing excellent customer service to one person, and providing excellent customer service to another.

Soon after, I left the company, and I would do that all over again.

I can cook pretty well, and am a medical assistant, but the only real medical advice would be to ask a doctor.

Ask me, and I might surprise myself with what I know.
