ABOUT ME

I'm Keara. 20 years old. Living in Richmond, VA. College student studying Advertising. I have a lot of ambition and curiosity about the world and I'm doing something about it, which is why I signed up for Couch Surfing. I believe that you can learn a lot from this world and the people that inhabit it. But its up to you to go out and discover it for yourself. I fee like I have done all that I can here in Virginia with these same people, so I wanted to look elsewhere in the world. I'm very friendly. I am also very respectful. I enjoy being around close friends as well as meeting new people. I like to go to new places and try new things. I've got a good head on my shoulders and I treat all people well. I'm a hard worker and I'm also very ambitious. As a guest in your home I will offer to help clean up and cook if need be. I also love trying new and awesome food, so if you cook up something just because you are that nice, I will not deny your feast! Sadly, my cooking skills don't go beyond a box of macaroni and cheese, but I will love to treat you to a nice meal! I will be very respectful to you and your home. I also love animals! So if you have pets I will not be bothered.

PHILOSOPHY

I want nothing more than to experience life and experience it well. I believe that Couch Surfing can help make that goal possible because it included a different way of traveling and you meet new people along the way. I love meeting interesting people and getting to know them and what they are like. This world is so magnificent that sometimes it frustrates me that I won't be able to learn, see and do it all, however, I feel that every human being on this earth may be feeling the same thing.

Interests

Beautiful things, such as people, art, places, nature, music. I try to find the positives in everything. I love spending time alone and relaxing, but I also love to go out and have fun when I have the energy for it. I find the time I spend with the people I love very valuable, so I cherish the time I get to spend with them. I love museums and learning. I especially love space science and astronomy. I love going to record stores and browsing around looking for different types of artists and new styles of music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any Quentin Tarantino or Coen Brothers movie. I love all types of music, I also love going to shows and getting lost in music stores. I enjoy Kurt Vonnegut and Chuck Palahniuk books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) successfully changing a tire all by myself
2) climbing to the top of a very large mountain in West Virginia

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been told that I am very wise and I'm a good listener. I want to be a sponge and absorb the knowledge that you contain so that I will be able to use it for myself. I don't have much knowledge about the world just yet or my place in it. However, I will do my best to share what I know with the little amount of experience under my belt so you can learn something from me.
